Text description provided by the architects. This weekend house in São Paulo was designed for a couple with young children. The architectural style is very clear: organized in a square layout, the outer perimeter is enclosed by circular metal pillars that support the generous overhang and cover the balcony, and mark the inner courtyard of the same format that occupies the central position.

Thus, the house has two facades, one outside and one inside, as well as two circulation galleries, one of them is the balcony and the other, the gallery that surrounds the courtyard. The enclosures of the facades are wooden slats and camouflaged frames of the same material that allow a controlled existence of indoor / outdoor permeability.

The central courtyard enhances the natural lighting and ventilation, providing views of the generous garden from all environments.

Vertical enclosures do not touch the roof, except in the living room, which helps to give lightness to the roof that rests on the metal pillars with a rhythmic spacing of 5 by 5 meters.

The residence separated from the ground and the main access is through a large pivot door that directs the circulation around the inner garden.
The living area of the residence is located at the back, on the north facade, and can be fully integrated with the outdoor garden, where there is a pool, with the same dimensions as the central courtyard. The intimate area is on the east façade and to the west are the service areas.
